Tupperware Brands Joins UN Women to Advance Women’s Economic Empowerment


On June 3 Tupperware Brands (TWB) announced their commitment as a founding member (led by the company’s Chairman and CEO Rick Goings) of UN Women’s newly launched Private Sector Leadership Advisory Council.

As part of this Council, TWB will collaborate with UN Women and select leading businesses to promote, support and accelerate initiatives that strengthen women’s economic empowerment. In addition to a $500,000 commitment to support UN Women’s work around the world, TWB also plans to launch cause marketing programs in key markets like India and Brazil, while leveraging its nearly 3 million global salesforce to advance UN Women and the company’s mutual commitment to women’s economic empowerment worldwide.
